Care & Maintenance

Always follow the care label attached to your garment. The guidelines below are general recommendations; blends, finishes, linings, and decorative details may require different care.

Cotton & Cotton Blends
For washable garments, wash in cold water with like colors and a mild detergent. Air dry to help minimize shrinkage, or tumble dry on low only if the care label allows. Reshape while damp.

Polyester
For washable garments, machine wash cold with like colors. Air dry, or tumble dry on low if permitted. Avoid high heat, and use a low iron setting only when needed and allowed by the label.

Nylon & Stretch Fabrics
Washable nylon and spandex blends benefit from a cold, gentle wash. Use a mesh laundry bag for delicate items. Avoid wringing, excessive heat, and direct ironing on stretch panels. Air dry unless the label specifies otherwise.

Wool & Cashmere
Use a detergent formulated for wool or cashmere. Hand wash only when permitted, and machine wash only if the garment is labeled machine washable. Handle gently, reshape, and dry flat away from direct heat. Do not wring or hang wet knitwear.

Linen
For washable garments, use cold water and a gentle cycle. Air dry, or tumble dry on low if permitted, removing while slightly damp. Iron while damp using the setting recommended on the label.

Silk
Follow the care label closely. If hand washing is permitted, use cool water and a detergent suitable for silk. Avoid soaking, rubbing, or wringing. Dry away from direct sunlight. Garments labeled “Dry Clean Only” should be professionally cleaned.

Blended Fabrics
Follow the garment’s care label rather than choosing a wash method based only on the main fiber. Even a small amount of a delicate fiber, or a special finish, may change the care requirements.

Prints, Embroidery & Other Details
Turn washable garments inside out before washing. Avoid abrasive washing and direct ironing over prints, transfers, or decorative details. Follow any additional care instructions supplied with the garment.
